"The Shack" by William Young. A very sad, yet interesting, fiction book. I don't know quite what to think about it yet (I now don't like ladybugs!) but I have a whole new way of looking at and thinking about the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. I recommend it highly.

Missy and Grant are having a girl!
Doug & I are absolutely thrilled. Now we will have one of each. Grandchildren, that is! I knew the moment I saw the nose on the sonogram (sp?) that it was a girl - Missy's nose for sure! I informed Grant to start the "wedding fund" now and I think I shook him a bit. Anyway, we could not be happier. Due date is February 2, 2009 and her name will be "Piper Ann Goodenow"!

Reunion
Doug & I recently attended our 40th High School Reunion. What a shocker! We thought we hadn't changed a bit! We had so much fun and renewed many friendships and started many more that will hopefully continue from now on. We are all on a level playing field now and all those petty differences from high school are now a thing of the past. Very refreshing!
